BBQ was branded
into my heart fairly early in life. Once that smoke gets in your blood,
it’s there to stay. I had access to smokers but never had my own. In 2015,
I met Lisa and while being introduced to her Dad,
I got to experience his food trailer business in Virginia.
Helping out with his business branded BBQ into
my heart and soul a little deeper! In 2016 I made a career change. With some
encouragement from Lisa, I promised myself I
would push forward towards becoming an actual pit master. That’s when I
invested some money into myself and bought my first smoker and some
catering supplies. Soon, the name The Sauced Savage was
formed! One because we are straight up Savage in this
compound ( seriously check my license! ), two
because what’s BBQ without a little
sauce, and three what’s a BBQ without getting
a little sauced?! ! I
had a friend design my
logo. He literally took a picture of me and hand
sketched me doing what I love (thanks Brad!).
Lisa and I were married in February
of 2017 and my BBQ was such a
passion I catered our own wedding
reception! So that brings us to today. My goal is
to provide local people with the best BBQ they’ve ever
had while being able to enjoy my dream with my 4
children Ryleigh, Jackson, Keagan, and Ainsley.
If you’re having a party, wedding, gathering or just want to see
The Sauced Savage at an event near you,
just let me know. If there is something that is not on the
menu, please ask because I
aim to please plus I’m always up for a
challenge! So,
the next time you are in need of some down home,
delicious, not your local chain BBQ,
go ahead........ Feed
Your Inner Savage!
